Katie & Derek

KATIE!!!!!!! Really, showed out on this week’s episode.

Katie is jealous that Derek is nice to other women. He talks to them even — this is SO CRAZY — makes them laugh. She storms off several times because she feels he gives other women what she wants from him — affection and attention. Nope, Katie he is the same way with you, but when he directs it toward you he is being childish and silly. I swear she gets on my nerves. She wants to kill this thing so bad. However, I do agree he needs to stay away from Taylor because she is the type of woman that will take advantage of his niceness and be totally inappropriate. She was a mess at the table fawning a bit too much over Derek; so I will agree with Katie on that one. As an aside, I think we have learned too much about Katie this season. Now we know she has eight day periods and likes period sex — way too much info.

Jessica & Austin

Are still happy and now feel guilty that they are because all the other couples are a mess. I need them to go back into their happy bubble. These other couples are toxic.

Taylor & Brandon

Taylor and Brandon need to be on separate planets. Can we end them already? She is sleeping with other guys and he is mentally unstable and none of this is working. Kudos to Brandon for taping the bathroom footage and fighting to keep the door open during the fight because Taylor is that chick that would make him look violent if she could. The funniest moments: him shrinking down to the producer’s height to get him out of his face, him cracking the window an inch to talk to Michael thinking producers were going to leap into the van through the crack and Michael saying Brandon was being “weird” — like Brandon’s level of strange was even too much for highly strange Michael.

Michael & Meka

Michael and Meka are a mess! Meka is valid in her concerns, but she struggles with delivery. She keeps bringing up his faults in front of people and that isn’t making the situation better. Michael was pissed on the ride and even more pissed when they got to the retreat and he had to sleep alone. Instead of being an adult and saying I am riding back with Brandon to give you some space, he lies again and gets caught. Is he a liar? Absolutely. Meka however needs a better approach to dealing with it since she keeps choosing to stay. Honestly, I think that their relationship probably could have worked because I think they genuinely like each other, but they each need individual therapy and couples therapy and a TV show for eight weeks can’t provide the support they need.

Final Thoughts:

Next week Taylor’s “Yes” friends are going to make this whole season Brandon’s fault.

Can the DC dating pool really this bad????

Was I the only one who saw the confederate flag outside the paranormal spot and having black cast members go in … production really????
