Married At First Sight Season 12: The Affects of Pandemic Dating

So far season 12 of Married at First Sight in Atlanta is giving me …zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I don’t like any of them. I see that they were trying to spark some interesting couplings, but it really seems like a bunch of people that are tired of Pandemic dating, getting too old, or thinking this is simply something fun to do.

There are a few people really under my skin in these early get-to-know-you episodes — the black dude that is a “success” and constantly talking to his pastor, the black dude that dates white chicks, and the flight attendant. I am going to get tired of them quickly.

The only ray of light so far is Briana and her man with the big beard. They both seem nice and a good coupling, but she may freak out because he didn’t go to college.

I am not a huge fan of the early episodes. The matchmaking and wedding episodes tend to drag on. Let's hope that the season picks up.

They Are Starting to Get Married Now

I told ya’ll that Briana & Vincent were the cute couple this season. There is an authenticity there. Fingers crossed that the cuteness continues.

S/N to hair and make-up for Briana — they killed all the women’s looks. Sis installed a full weave on camera. She looked amazing! Plus, I liked the table seated wedding. It looked as if the guests could stay in one place and the couple moved in and out. I liked that setup.

Clara & Ryan — I don’t know. She is too much and way too much for a reserved guy like Ryan. He looked like he wanted to escape. I think she wasn’t really attracted to him and that amped up her personality. He looked scared.

Virginia and the pilot dude aren’t going to work. She isn’t ready and he doesn’t have it in him to be pulling her in from the ledge all the time. She has issues, a bit young, and is a party person. He wasn’t looking to be a parent. This one is gonna combust. He would only stay if she was gorgeous … it is going to end quickly.

Chris isn’t going to think Paige is pretty enough. Did y’all see his face as her bridesmaids came down the aisle? His hopes were being dashed in real-time. Paige is going to see through him fast and be unimpressed. Why do they pair decent women with asses? Like, Chris walks in and you automatically say — nah. This is going to be a mess.

The last couple is going to be probably my don’t care couple of the season. They seem pretty normal and will probably work.

We have two more weddings to get through and then we will start to get some real previews of the season. If you want to have a bit of fun, search “Chris” on social media because there are lots of theories and rumors about his businesses and prior relationships that may impact this season. Apparently, he is on the bad side of lots of folks and they are alleging all sorts of things.
