I thought it was important to hear from a single dad about his perspective on raising kids. My guest is author, Vernon Kelson, a single Black dad raising his three year old daughter. He talks about the challenges around co-parenting, moving on after the love is gone, finding time for yourself and more. More importantly though, he talks about the importance of men embracing fatherhood, leaning in for help from their village and taking the time to let more patience and vulnerability into their lives in order to be successful at parenting.
